The technology.

Surfactants displacement is aimed at reducing the surface tension at the oil-water border, increasing oil mobility and improving the displacement of water.

By improving the wettability of rocks, water is absorbed into the pores filled with oil, moves in the formation and displaces more oil.

Objects of application and technological efficiency.

Suitable locations are deposits of low viscosity oil (no more than 10 mPa * s), low salinity water, productive strata represented by carbonate reservoirs with low permeability.

Oil Recovery Index of Chemical Methods in Russia is 25–35%.
