The Goal of the Technology.

The main goal of this technology is to increase oil recovery and intensify field production.

The Essence of the Technology.

This method is based on air inflation into the stratum and its transformation into efficient displacing agents due to low temperature intra-stratum oxidation processes.

As a result of low temperature oxidation reactions in the immediate region of the stratum, highly efficient gas agent is worked out. It contains nitrogen, carbonic acid and light hydrocarbon fractions.

High efficiency is reached owing to realization of complete or partially miscible displacement

The History of Application and Technological Efficiency.

The method went through successful field tests and was applied at the number of oilfields in the former USSR and the US, including the international project “Interoilrecovery” USSR (RMNTK “Nefteotdacha”) – USA (NK AMOCO). Some results of field tests are presented in table 1.
