New Projects of Petros in Indonesia

A state company of Indonesia Pertamina ET together with a number of big private companies of the Republic of Indonesia invited experts of GC Petros to pay a business visit to the country. In the course of the visit several new agreements on cooperation and partnership have been signed.

At the Fourth International Exhibition Expo-2008 in the city of Balikpapan (Kalimantan island) GC Petros introduced Russian technologies aimed at enhancing reservoir recovery, software for seismic and geophysical works and a wide range of drilling and servicing works. In the course of negotiations held during the visit, the parties signed a Protocol of Intentions with a big state engineering company PT Rekayasa Industry. According to this protocol Russian MUN technologies are planned to be implemented at more than 30 oil fields of North-West Java. The works envisaged in the agreement are supposed to start in September – October 2008.

GC Petros was received by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation in the Republic of Indonesia Alexander Anatolievich Ivanov who gave a highly favorable assessment of the work accomplished by GC Petros. The Ambassador expressed his willingness to assist the promotion of Russian technologies, goods and services in Indonesia.

At the present time a return visit of the representatives of leading oil companies of Indonesia to Russia is being planned, it includes trips of Indonesian partners to the biggest oilfields of West Siberia.
