This decision was made by the company’s management on the grounds of Indonesian oil and gas sector demand for business optimization and outside financing. It is known that the owners of Indonesian oil blocks do not have the sufficient money resources to carry out the required seismic exploration works and first wells drilling. According to the statistical data about 80% of “Zebra” partners have already “found” their investors, for this reason the holding of auctions for the right of new oil blocks development could be interesting for the state enterprises of Indonesian oil and gas sector as well.
