Infrastructure Asia 2010 Forum
Infrastructure Asia 2010 is Asia's premier infrastructure forum and the exclusive private sector interface with the upcoming “Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on Public & Private Partnerships for Infrastructure Development (APMC PPP 2010)”. Responding to the Global Financial Crisis that has crippled the economic growth, the Exhibition with the PPP business model is expected to stave off recession and create employment opportunities and new stimulus in almost every Asian country. The exhibition was attended by representatives of the international banks, construction and design firms, experts in road and bridge construction, institutional and private investors, manufacturers and suppliers, tax experts and officials from different ministries. Russian Federation presented its projects at the exhibition in Jakarta. The Ministry of Transportation proposed a new program of investment in Russian road construction. Power Machines Company, the leading Russian manufacturer and supplier of complex decisions in the field of power engineering, presented its innovations in production, supply, erection, maintenance and modernization of equipment for thermal, nuclear, hydraulic and gas-turbine power plants. Participation in such activities for “Petros” has become a tradition. This year the company proposed both, our own innovative technologies in enhancing oil recovery, exploration and efficient exploitation of oil fields and production of our partners. In particular, the company became an exclusive distributor for the micro fire extinguisher “Pirohimika”, a unique development of Russian scientists with the use of nanotechnology, as well as a universal detector for flammable liquids LQTest 2.8. The Russian Federation booth was visited by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure in Indonesia, as well as the Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in the UN (ESCAP), N.
