Indonesia to host 20th World Economic Forum on East Asia in June
Indonesia will host the 20th World Economic Forum Summit on East Asia themed Responding to the New Globalism on June 12-13, a press statement said here on Tuesday.
This will be the first World Economic Forum on East Asia in the capital city of Jakarta and will be attended by more than 500 delegates who will discuss how to sustain economic recovery to ensure regional competitiveness in the future.
The summit will be co-chaired by President Director of Indonesia's state oil and gas company Pertamina Karen Agustiawan, Worldwide Managing Director McKinsey & Company Dominic Barton from UK, Group Chief Executive Officer HSBC (NYSE:HBC) Holdings Stuart T. Gulliver from UK, Chief Executive Officer Unilever Paul Polman from UK and Group Chief Executive Essar Group Prashant Ruia from India.
