Enhanced Сooperation between Russia and Indonesia
During his meeting with Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia, Ir. M. Hatta Rajasa, Sergei Ivanov stated that according to the Russian Federation considers trade and economic relations with Indonesia as a priority in the long run. Current level of trade is not enough for two big nations. It is expected that the Russian-Indonesian turnover will reach up to 2 billion USD by the end of 2011, and in 2013 this figure is projected to reach 3 billion USD level.

During the visit Mr. S. Ivanov met with the Vice President of Indonesia Dr. Budiono.
Within the frames of the High level visit Kadin and Indonesia-Russian business council held Business Forum that exposed main targets of bilateral cooperation which was opened by Mr. S. Ivanov and Minister of trade of the Republic of Indonesia Gita Wirjawan.
The key issue discussed by the parties was a flag project of the Russian railways at Kalimantan. It is planned to build 285 km long railway for coal transportation to the cost line including two sea terminals.
Petros Group represented by its commissioner, Victor Tarusin, took an active part in the intergovernmental high-level meeting between the Deputy Chairman of the Russian government and the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia. Mr. S. Ivanov expressed high appreciation to the efforts of Petros Technologies Indonesia in promoting Russian original technological products at Indonesian market. Special attention he addressed to Nanex fire extinguishes and LQ-test detectors, representing state-of-the-art sophisticated products certified and available for sale in Indonesia. He told that it is a positive example of Russian business activities in this country.
